In another initiative, Tata Steel today handed over a fleet of
vehicles for sewage management of Jamshedpur city to Tata Steel
Utilities & Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL). The company,
through TSUISL provides water and waste water management services
apart from other essential urban infrastructure in Jamshedpur. Through
the continuous efforts on cleanliness in town, Jamshedpur has achieved
12th rank in FY-22, under the Swachhta Sarvekshan of Govt. of India.
The machines include Super Sucker (hi-flow suction cum jetting
machine), Desilting Grab Machine (Tata Ace mounted small de-silting
grab machine which allows desilting without workmen entry) and jetting
machine.
