A high level meeting on Tuesday was held at Vinoba Bhave University (VBU) regarding the preparation of Independence Day.
The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Suman Catherine Kispotta. The meeting was conducted by the Dean of Student Welfare Faculty of the University, Professor, Mithilesh Kumar Singh.
Several sub-committees have been formed to organize the Independence Day program. It was proposed that all the sub-committees will hold their respective meetings and ensure the discharge of their responsibilities.
The process for the selection of the team of postgraduate departments for the group singing competition will be organized from 12:30 pm on August 10. A proposal was made to hold a meeting of the conveners of all the sub-committees in the Vice Chancellor's meeting room on August 13 from 3:00 pm. It was decided that the colleges will be instructed to ensure that the cultural presentation is of high standard.
University's Finance Advisor Sunil Kumar Singh, Registrar Mohammad Mokhtar Alam, besides a good number of department heads and teachers were present in the meeting.
