The 168th meeting of syndicate of Vinoba Bhave University was organized in the Aryabhatt seminar hall here on Friday. The meeting was presided over by the vice chancellor Mukul Deo Naryan. This was the emergent meeting of syndicate, which was called only for one agenda. Registrar of university Bansidhar Rukhiyar welcomed all the members and officials in meeting. He placed only one agenda of University Grant Commission regulation 2010 in the meeting.
All members unanimously passed the regulation. This will be helpful in the promotion of the university Post Graduate teachers and college teachers, who had been appointed in the year 1980, 81, 82, 83, 85, 89, and 2008. On this occasion VC Mukul Naryan Deo said that after joining as vice chancellor in the university he has cleared the maximum pending files of the retired teachers of the university. Now his first priority will be promotion of the teachers.
In the meeting Pro vice chancellor Ajit Kumar Sinha, Inderjeet Kumar, PC Devgharia, Chandra Sekhar Singh, Sawarmal Agarwal, Rekha Rani, LP Mishra, Ajit Kumar Pathak, Jai Prakash Ravidas, Vimal Revan, Ranjeet Rai and Pankaj Mehta were present.
