VBU students protest under AIDSO banner

Published on:

Raising voice against every anti student decision of the University administration has now started fruiting for All India Democratic Students Organization (AIDSO). On Thursday 12th February everyone present in VBU campus noticed it during their pre-scheduled programme of burning of VC’s effigy against semester system, reducing the rate of providing photocopy of answer-book, justice for part I 2013-14 examinees etc.

Huge gathering of students dissatisfied with VBU administration was enough to show the increasing popularity of AIDSO. In front of science block they decorated the bier and after putting the effigy on it took a round of entire campus with enchanting slogans against VBU administration. They entered into administrative block and tried to go towards VC Chamber, but the grill was locked.

They sat in front of grill and started enchanting slogans there. In presence of police VC and Pro VC came out but both failed to satisfy the students. VC kept mum on the questions and queries while PVC tried to use old tricks which failed. Finally they came out and in front of the building burnt the effigy of VC after performing every last ritual including removal of hair and immersing the ashes.
