Vinoba Bhave University administration has postponed the student’s union election scheduled to be held in coming September.
Yesterday in the meeting of election advisory committee the decision of putting elections on hold was taken because till date not a single college has finalized the voters list.
Actually the announcement of election schedule was made in a hurry by the VBU administration without going in to the ground condition. Presently in colleges only the students of UG First semester are on roll.
The students of second part are waiting for their result and the exams of the first part is going on.
When colleges informed that according to program announced by the university they can only allow the students of first semester to participate in this election then university administration took this decision.
