Vinoba Bhave University organised a marathon meeting of the sports control board of the university. The meeting was chaired by vice chancellor Dr. Mukul Dev Naryan, the vice chancellor of the university.
In the meeting the board decided that after the starting of eastern inter university competition of association of universities the sports events will be started in the university.
This is the efforts of the present vice chancellor that the first time such a type of sports event will take place.The members of the sports control board have sanctioned a budget of Rs 86 lakh for the conduct of different sports. The members have also finalized the sports calendar for the university for 2022-23. The board has passed funds worth Rs 78590 rupees for the conduct of training and camps. For the conduct of sports on university level the board has
passed the budget of Rs 36 lakh,13 lakhs for college level sports and 13 lakhs for chancellor trophy has been sanctioned by the board.
For annualsports 10 lacs rupees has been sanctioned. In the meeting Dean Student Welfare (DSW) Ambar Khatoon and other members were present.
