The teachers of Vinoba Bhave University, who have not joined the evaluation work of graduation part-II exam held recently, even after getting the appointment letter of university, will get show cause notices very soon.
The decision in this regardcame after the meeting of examination board which was chaired by V-C RN Bhagat.
In the meeting, the examination controller of VBU reported about the increasing tendency of ignoring examination works by the teachers. Controller AM Siddique said that due to non-cooperation of teachers’ exams and associated works are getting delayed, when some members enquired about the expected date of publication of result of part II 2013 exams.
It was decided that in first phase all the teachers who had not reported at evaluation centers and practical exam centers will be issued show cause noticeswith 15 days time.
If the reply of erring teachers will not be satisfactory then the department will propose punishment before the examination board and after board’s approval they will be punished. The punishment can be debarring from examination duties for next 1-3 years, freezing increment and or adverse remarks in the service book.
