The Vinoba Bhave University administration has decided not to give extension of service to employees in university headquarters, different colleges under the university. The university has issued the order regarding this issue.

Under the Jharkhand State University Act, those teachers or non- teaching staff who will retire on the age of 65 and 60 years respectively, will not get the benefit of extension in the service. If any principal will provide the extension to their employees, for this act the principal will be responsible.

In the order the administration said that those employees were retired from the post they will continue their services on the same nature of work. The permanent employees association of non- teaching staffs discussed on this matter and approached to the vice chancellor not to give the extension to such employees who have been retired from the service.

Generally, university and colleges used to give extension to the retired personnel due to the lack of the staffs in the colleges as well as in the university headquarter office.

After the implementation of the order the colleges and university will face the problem of lack of employees. Work will not be done on time, and the burden of work will increase on the present employees.
