This 'Heritage Special' is the same train by which Mahatma Gandhi came to West Champaran on the request of the local farmers and started the experiment of non-violence and satyagraha in the Indian freedom struggle.

ECR is directly connecting the local public representatives, students of schools, colleges, general public in all these programmes. Not only are all cordially invited in the programmes, but they are requested to join them as participants and associates.
