Thieves escaped with the jewellery and other household goods from a locked house under Sector 12 police station in Bokaro on Saturday night.
According to the police, thieves entered into the house of Azhar Immam after breaking the lock and escaped with precious ornaments including Gold, Silver and other valuables worth of Rs2.5 lakh along with Rs10,000 cash.
House was locked as all family members were out of station. An FIR has been lodged at and police has started investigation, he said.
