Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday was also celebrated in Koderma on Thursday. The Bharatiya Janata Party Jhumaritelaiya Nagar Committee celebrated the birth anniversary at Old CD Girls School premises with garlanding cake cutting and sweet distribution.

Prakash Ram said, "Centre has declared the day as Good Governance Day and in my views this is and the best way of celebration. We should devote ourselves to this cause."
The newly Elected MlA of Koderma Dr. Neera Yadav distributed fruits among the patients admitted at Sadar Hospital and shared their pain and said, ”The first Prime Minister is lauded as a statesman and the moderate face of the party.” She was “thoroughly overjoyed” after he was named for the Bharat Ratna award. and said,”The recognition only added to the stature of Vajpayee but without it too, he was the tallest politician in the country in recent times and that is why he was loved by one and all, irrespective of age, caste, community or religious affiliations.”
