Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand Rai University Savita Senger today stressed on the need of empowering citizens through Public Relations and not limiting the work of PR just to make Government information reach people and take their reactions.
Senger, while interacting with the officers of Information and Public Relations department of the State here on Saturday said that empowering people will bring them to front and allow taking advantage of Government schemes.
Senger said, “We have to be honest with our job. In addition to this, discipline has to be maintained in performing tasks. It will increase the significance and success of the work you are doing with it. Not only this, we also need to understand what is the purpose of the work we are doing? This will motivate you to work and you will get great satisfaction even when the goal is achieved.”
She said that motivation is necessary for everyone to succeed in life. “It keeps us active and motivates to achieve its goal. Therefore, every person should find motivation in himself and proceed by doing tasks accordingly. With this, you will experience immense happiness along with meeting your destination. On the day you find the purpose of your life, you will definitely get motivation and you will work with full dedication,” she added.
Senger said that Motivation is not an external factor. It should come internally in the person. Motivation is not a one day thing. This is a continuous process. “This will keep you motivated to do your tasks for a long time. This will definitely give you success. Today there is no such area where there is no need for communication. It has become an important part of all types of profiles and jobs. Therefore, for effective communication, it is necessary to use the right and simplest medium. With this, the communication you have set will be very easy to achieve. He told that communication is the highest paid skill in the world today,” she added.
