The ambitious MKAY scheme offers an amount of Rs 5,000 per acre to farmers of the state during the Kharif crop season.
Farmers having less than one acre land would be given the minimum amount of Rs 5,000. The scheme assures that farmers do not have to depend on anyone or take loans to buy seeds and fertilizers. Also, they would not have to return the money after successful production of crops.
