The meeting of district planning committee held in collectorate meeting hall took place under the chairmanship of in-charge Minister Saryu Roy. In the meeting Saryu Roy directed the district administration to use the amount of Rs 11.5 crore given by State Government as special grant in completing the projects or schemes still incomplete due to shortage of money.
The officials and peoples’ representatives raised matters of many such incomplete projects to get approval of assistance from this fund. MlA Janki Yadav raised the matter of primary health center of Barkattha and incomplete small irrigation scheme of his area while MlA Manoj Kumar Yadav raised the matters of Barhi and Chauparan blocks of the district.
District board members also brought into minister’s attention many such incomplete projects on which the officials of district administration replied the queries made by the house.
