DC Hazaribagh Ravi Shankar Shukla reviewed the status of PM Housing Scheme previously called Indira Awaas Yojna and MNREGA works of eight blocks of the district. In the meeting hall of district collectorate Shukla talked with the officials of Sadar, Ichak, Barhi, Tati Jhariya, Padma, Katkamsandi, Katkamdag and Daru blocks.
Shukla directed the officials to enter the data of PM Housing Scheme within three days in the Awaash Software so that clear picture can be available in the district headquarters. He also directed the officials to complete the pending IAY by the end of September at any cost.
DC became angry when he found that except the Sadar block no other block has submitted the data and status report of Ambedkar Housing Scheme yet. Taking it seriously he directed the officials to submit the data and status report to the headquarter within 24 hours.
While reviewing the schemes going on in the blocks under MNREGA he directed the officials to increase the number of active labors because against the number of work days sanctioned the government needs now more labors. He also discussed on the matter of delay in payment to the MNREGA workers and directed the officials to show cause the staff responsible for it and to arrange compensation amount from their salary. He also talked about the general complain of giving work to selected job card holders only and warned the official to stop it completely.
Reviewing the dobha construction scheme DC directed the block officials to complete the records as soon as possible and to make the fixing of sign boards having details of the scheme at the site. Regarding complains of absence or late arrival of staffs in the blocks he clearly said that the staffs posted in blocks will have to live there otherwise action will be taken against them.
Shukla also directed the block development officers to arrange meetings with bank officials, cooperative officials and agriculture department officials atleast once in a month for the benefit of peasants of their area. He also instructed the officials to produce district irrigation plan in his office within 24 hours. In this meeting DDC Rajesh Pathak, Director DRDA SB Prabhakar, Project Officer Anuja Rana and others were present.
