The State Government is mulling over exchange of ownership of agriculture land which will be acquired for the proposed IIM-R at Cherry with the land adjacent to the plot but not owned by anybody.
Hinting at the proposal Chief Secretary Sharma said, "We have enough GM land so we may consider exchange of land in lieu of the land which will be acquired for IIM-R." Sharma, however, did not specify the time frame to make the provision effective.
