Union Minister of State for Agriculture Sudarshan Bhagat requested the director of Jharkhand Rajya Vidyut Vikas Nigam Dhurwa Ranchi to improve the poor supply and miserable condition of electricity in his parliamentary area lohardaga through a letter. The letter described the miserable condition of electric wires and the poles. It tends to invite any accident. At present the replacement of wires, poles and transformer is being done by RAPDRP-Part B. but there is no provision to install lT light. So there is no any benefit of this plan. For the welfare of the people the installation of lT light is essential in lohardaga.
According to the Executive Engineer James Kujur, “The proposal has been sent to the department. In lohardaga a powerhouse would also be started. All the tubular poles will be replaced with cemented poles. The capacity of transformers will be enhanced and would be equipped with AB switches.”
