Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to arrive Daltonganj’s Belwatiker colony on Friday to offer his condolences on the occasion of “Trayodashi’ of his mother in law late Samudra Devi
District BJP media incharge Sheo Kumar Mishra said the union Home Minister would visit his in law’s house at Belwatiker where his mother in law Samudra Devi passed away last week. She was cremated in Varansi where too her son in law Raj Nath Singh was present.
The union Home Minister is coming by BSF helicopter and will land at Chiyanki helipad in Daltonganj from where he will come down to Belwatiker mohalla by road which is a highly congested locality and has not too wide road inside the mohalla.
Police have stepped up its vigil on the route falling between Chiyanki helipad and Belwatiker mohalla.
BJP’s national general secretary Arun K Singh has already arrived in Daltonganj in same connection of condolences over the demise of the lady Samudra Devi.
BJP sources said the union Home Minister would hold a high level meeting with State chief minister and top brass of the administration in Ranchi on his arrival there first before coming to Daltonganj. The meeting is on the issue of left Wing Extremism in Project Bhawan Ranchi said BJP sources.
BJP sources said this is a personal visit of union Home Minister here and his tour programme has no mention of any meet with scribes.
