An unidentified body of a 35-year-old man was found lying in a river at Laws Long area along the slag road under Jageshwar-Bihar police station area in the city this morning. Police said that unknown assailants might have murdered the man at somewhere else and dropped the body in the Katel river in the night.
The police said this to be a case of murder and removed the body to the Tenughat mortuary for post mortem having registered a case of murder against unknown.The body was found inside a Katel river near Jageshwar-Bihar area under same police station.
Superintendent of police,Bokaro confirmed it to be a case of murder. The police officials said that the murder victim to be working and from a lower middle class family. Notably, the spot where the body was found is an isolated place.
Officer-in-charge, Rana Ran Vijay Singh said that they are trying to get the body identified. ” We are investigating the incident. Once the victim’s body is identified, we will be able to detect the case,” he noted.
