Mobile application based omni-transport app TYGR announced launching of its operations in capital city on Wednesday. Intensifying competition in app-based cab services like Ola and others, TYGR has with this launch tried to remain a step ahead of its competitors by adding so far untapped women only pink auto network too in its fleet.

Managing Director of TYGR App, better known for being world’s first organisation for automation of passenger and commercial transportation, Aditya Poddar said on the occasion of launching services that TYGR cabs came with a range of premium services, as its multiple payment alternatives included card and digital wallet based payments, and priority pick-ups.

“We have received phenomenal response across all geographies we are operational in. We believe that latest toll out will also meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of passengers here in Ranchi. We will be adding over 500 taxis and autos in couple of weeks from now in city with adding card-payment option in all taxis and autos,” said Poddar on Wednesday. “What is exciting about our Ranchi expansion is that we have on-boarded pink autos which were launched to provide hassle-free and more secure travel alternative for women. The availability of these autos on TYGR platform will significantly increase the safety of women passengers,” added Poddar, whose app provides passenger services, bus booking, on demand ambulance, trucks and tempo apart from logistics support for restaurants, retailers, door to door couriers, grocers and cargo services also.

Another prominent feature which gives TYGR some advantage over its competitors in markets it is present by now is that it enables cash-strapped non-TYGR passenger to download the application and make a cashless payment to TYGR-affiliated cab while en route to his/her destination.
