A para teacher identified as Manoj Chowdhury has been arrested along with a veteran criminal Deva Chowdhury  as these two were a part of the gang of eight others which on the night of November 19 had made an abortive attempt to stop and loot the occupant of a luxury vehicle the Garhwa JVM (p) MlA Satender Nath Tiwarty, said the SP Palamu Narendra Kumar Singh.

The SP Palamu Narendra Kumar Singh said these two have been remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday as they were picked up last night on a clear tip off and the two have confessed.

The two were caught by police from Shahpur locality added the SP. Among the ten member gang nine are from Palamu. The Garhwa police are also working on the disclosures of these two arrested and jailed now and some more catches are just a matter of time now for Garhwa police which has identified a whole seller of egg to be the informer, planner and executor of the road robbery which cost the road robbers gang one loss of life on November 19 when the body guards of the MlA Tiwary shot down one shooter Babbloo Tiwary on the spot.

The whole seller of egg runs a small hotel which is a cover up to find as to who at odd hours is travelling through the Anraj valley which the MlA had negotiated on November 19.

The Palamu SP stated firmly that the robbers on road wanted to loot the occupant not knowing who the occupant was there in the vehicle.

He denied the episode has even any distant relation or connection to any murky politics of which the MlA had so vented his ire and even stated there was an attempt to kill him for political reasons.

The SP however agreed that the road robbers had done all in their power to harm the occupant (read the MlA) but luck did run short for the MlA then and he survived a great attack on his vehicle.
