lohardaga police arrested the driver and his helper plying the truck loaded with theft bauxite. The nabbed persons are Santosh Kumar Sahu of Kudu and Kamal Rana of Nepal. In this regard SP Mrityunjay Kumar said, “The bauxite is sent to Ramgarh by the trucks engaged in the business. From Ramgarh this is transported to the iron companies.”
“On the basis of secret information the truck was grabbed at Kudu that was coming from Tori. The truck is bearing the registration number of Nagaland, he added”.
According to the information given by the driver the owner of the truck is Avinash Kumar of Ranchi. There were a total of 40 tones Bauxite loaded in the truck. The sp told that the bauxite is theft by the way of s3enha, Kudu and Chandwa. Then this is sent to Ramgarh. There is no provision of weight check while unloading. So the illegal work is on full swing. SP instructed to drive a vehicle check campaign at Henjla picket Ranchi road.
