Two persons died and about half a dozen got severe injuries in an accident which took place in a stone mine in Ichak block on Friday afternoon.
As per information the mine is about 200 feet deep. Navratan Singh of Chatra and Mahendra Ravani of Aurangabad were doing drilling in the upper part of the mine.Suddenly the soil collapsed and both fell down. In this accident both died on the spot while about half a dozen workers who were working below were injured.The relatives of both victims have not moved the dead bodies from the spot and are demanding compensation. The mine owners are said to be absconding.
