Giridih police on Thursday busted an inter-state racket involved in different cyber criminal activities in Telangana and Jharkhand and its nearby areas and arrested two persons. The prompt intervention of Saria police resulted in the arrest of two of the gang members from Nagar Keswari of Saria in Giridih here on Thursday morning identified as Sahdeo Mandal and Rajesh Yadav.
During interrogation, Sahdeo Mandal accepted his involvement in a number of cases related to cyber crime and use to call several customers as bank officials and ask their pin number in other state like Telangana and Jharkhand if they failed to disclose their pin number and posing as a bank manager he would be closed their bank account. Rajesh used to provide the information of bank account and ATM and pin numbers to other men of his gang for easy transfer in his account.
