Two Birhor youths died due to drowning in a well of Sariya in Giridih district.
Both the youths Damru Birhor (30) and Ajay Birhor (22) years of suriya police station area.
On getting information about the incident, Sariya police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody. In this regard, the relatives said that both were missing since last Thursday evening. According to the people, both of them died by drowning in the well due to the intoxication of
alcohol.
Suresh Birhor, another of his companions, said that on Thursday, after working in all three tractors, they took their wages and started going home with home ration around 6 pm on Thursday
During this both of them drank Alcohol in an illegal liquor shop in Aurwatand .Again, both of them sat down to drink alcohol in another liquor shop, but Suresh went home saying that he was too drunk. After drinking, no one knows how they reached the well and fell in it.
After getting information about the matter, District Council member Anoop Pandey, Male leader Bhola Mandal, Bijay Singh, Mahendra Mandal, Parvati Devi, AJSU leader Lakhan Mehta, JMM leader Tribhuvan Mandal and other reached and inquired about the matter.
After this, villegers informed the Suriya police station and the BDO about the matter. After getting information, Suriya police station in-charge Prem Kumar and Block Development Officer Manoj Kumar Gupta reached there and with the help of local people got the body out of the well, along with the dead body was sent to Giridih for post-mortem.
The BDO immediately talked about giving Rs 20 thousand assistance each under social security, while also assuring the widow pension of both of their wives. The family was in a bad condition crying due to the incident.
