A truck MP 07HB/2402 of Bharat Roadways Company, Gwalior was looted by unidentified miscreants on Thursday night in filmy style here at Hazaribagh. The truck was on its way from Gwalior to Jamshedpur. It was loaded with tyres of JK Company of worth about 23 lakh, police said.
The driver of the truck had reportedly told police said that on Thursday late evening two unknown trucks took his truck in middle and forced him to stop in the Charhi valley area. As he stopped the truck some unknown miscreants entered the cabin and tight his along with his assistant. From there they drove the truck to Nagwan air strip of Hazaribagh where all 200 tyres were transferred on both trucks.
In the morning, after hearing noise from the cabin, drivers of other trucks came and helped them to released. Then they rang to their Gwalior and Jamshedpur offices. The managers of Gwalior and Jamshedpur offices Ajit Singh and RB Singh today met with SP and on his direction a case has been lodged in Mandu PS.
