A number of eminent personalities of the State including Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon and others offered floral tributes to Late Justice LPN Shahdeo on Thursday on the occasion of his 7th death anniversary.
A memorial was organized at Justice LPN Shadeo Chowk near Suchna Bhavan where a number of noted personalities of the state offered their tribute to Justice Shahdeo.
On the occasion, Jharkhand assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon said, "Justice Shahdeo was a real son of the soil. He worked towards connecting people from all strata of society in the Jharkhnad movement. We should now get together and make Jharkhand a state Justice Shahdeo wanted."
Vice chancellor of Ranchi University, Dr. Ramesh Pandey said that Justice Shahdeo had nurtured the Jharkhand Movement with his intellectual energy.
Justice Shahdeo's wife, Prabha Shahdeo commenced the memorial by offering floral tribute to her husband. Other family members present in the memorial included his eldest son-in-law and chairperson of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Ratan Kumar, daughters Sangeeta Dev, Kriti Dev and Shilpi Dev, son Pratul Shahdeo, daughter in law Vidya Shahdeo, Shambhavi Prabha and Shaurya Pratap.
Chairperson of Khadi Board Sanjay Seth, BJP General Secretary Deepak Prakash, head of tribal regional languages department of RU Triveni Sahu, Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayargiya and many other noted personalities of the State were present at the memorial.
