The Gomoh - Barwadih passenger train derailed near driver's control room while it was being placed on platform no. four of the Gomoh Junction today morning delaying movement of train for over three hours.
Incidentally, no one was injured in this incident as the train was empty while.the incident took place.
However , several sleepers and water supply lines of platform four and five were damaged in this incident.
According to railway authorities a boggy jumped the rails while the train was being placed from marshaling yard to platform.The loco pilot remained unaware and dragged the derailed boggy for a few meters damaging the expert and other fixtures.
It took over two hours for the accident relief square to restore traffic and bring back the boggy on tracks .
Movement of traffic via platform four and five remained suspended till three hours .
