Ranjan said the traffic constables would be deputed round the clock in three shifts, during which focus would be given on their smartness and have been asked to come with new uniform, shoes and uniform.
“Fit and smart constables will be deputed on prominent locations while those who does not look fit will be asked to carry on the challan duty,” said Ranjan. No any personnel will be allowed to misbehave with anybody, while the civilians found involved in unnecessary arguments with police will be booked immediately, he said.
“The constables will also be asked to call sir to everyone during the summit so that a better image of Jharkhand could be produced among the guests,” he added.
Planning of route diversion is also being done so that the people coming from outside do not have to face any problem.
He also said that strict orders will be passed not to disturb unnecessarily the vehicles coming from outside during these two days. Meanwhile, the whole city is being prepared for the mega show by putting up a layer of bitumen on the roads heading towards Khelgaon making it beautiful by putting white strips on it. Electric poles are also being coloured with silver colour so that it could shine in the night also.
