Ranchi Divisional Forest Officer Rajeev lochan Bakshi and his officials have recently seized a Tractor carrying illegally mined stones from the forest area of Raja-Ulatu near Mahilong.
Bakshi said, “We seized a tractor with registration number is JH-01-(U) 1263, and the engine number is JH0120113. No papers were found in the Tractor and so the name of the owner could not be ascertained. The driver fled from the spot. No arrest has been made so far. But we are working on the clues and will finally arrest the culprits.”
This was the seventh successful operation done by the district forest officials in the past few days.
According to Bakshi, the tractor has been seized and kept in the Mahilong Range office.
The team of Rajeev lochan Bakshi included ACF Parvesh Agarwal, Suresh Toppo, Range Officer Kamlesh Prasad and Forester Ram Balak Prasad.
