Excerpts:

Rachit Raj: UPSC Civil Services 3rd Rank

The year 2014 has doubled my happiness. Apart from my third rank in UPSC, I also secured 23rd rank in Indian Forest Services. I am willing to join IAS cadre through the

UPSC. Parents and relatives have always played the role of a guiding light. Since the process of appointment is likely to begin by the end of the year, I am spending my time by teaching the civil services aspirants in a private coaching centre at New Delhi. One should focus on previous years question papers to achieve success in civil services exam.

Nancy Sahay, UPSC Civil Services 36th Rank

Challenges are there in every step of life but with confidence, commitment and dedication all the difficulties can be conquered easily. The UPSC exam is not like a course and everything depends on interest, determination and preparation. So, doing right thing at right time and in right way holds the key of success. Becoming an IAS is just a beginning into a more diverse world. I would like to bring about positive changes in every area.

Varun Ranjan, UPSC Civil Services (Main) 38th Rank

Since I hail from Ranchi, my main motive is to contribute towards the development of my native city as much as possible. I will try doing whatever possible from my end to make Ranchi a better place to live.

Chandan Kumar, JAC Matric State Topper

life did change after joining Netarhat Residential School in 2010. My concentration towards studies increased thereafter. Presently, I have taken admission in Class XI at Doon Public School, Dhanbad and preparing for IIT-JEE from a coaching centre of Ranchi since it is my hometown.

Ashish Patel, JAC Matric State 3rd Topper

My life has changed after joining Netarhat Residential School in 2010. I belong to Ranchi and willing to pass IIT-JEE successfully. My father is in media.

For me, life is a challenge wherein one has to have the self-confidence to clear the path of hurdles. My main aim is to fulfil the dreams of my parents.

Saurabh Kumar, CBSE Class XII State Science Topper

I have taken admission in the Physics Honours of St Stephen’s College (DU). In Class X, I was the district topper from Hooghly district of West Bengal. It is a great feeling. After my graduation from DU, I will be appearing for Civil Services Examinations. life gives a golden chance to serve the country with the tag of a civil services officer.

Debopriya Shukla, JAC Inter-Science State topper

I believe in maintaining balance between all things in life. ‘living it up’ is an equally important aspect of my life as my studies and academic goals.

The student of Pakur Raj +2 High School grabbed 89.4 per cent in JAC intermediate examination and is probably first in Pakur. She wants to be a computer engineer and had taken admission in Birla Institution of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani.

Daily basis studies made her dream come true for her. The message that she gives to other students of her district- “Should not look upon what you want. Make best use of what you have.”

Julia Minz, JAC Inter Ninth State Arts topper

Being the daughter of a mason, I have never thought of achieving anything like this. It is like a dream for me. After receiving award from such dignitaries I believe nothing is impossible in this world. The word impossible itself says I am possible.
