The five State intermediate toppers will now get direct admission in medical or engineering colleges for pursuing their undergraduate courses. A letter including the names of five state inter toppers was sent by JAC to the HRD minister Geetashree Oraon on Saturday. Confirming the fact, HRD department sources said that the letter regarding this issue will be seen by Oraon on Monday since she is presently out of Ranchi.
Meanwhile, parents of this year’s State Science Topper Debopriya Shukla from Pakur district said that they have applied at BITS Pilani as it directly admits toppers of a State. “We want our daughter to admit in BIT Mesra under this state topper quota which is probably not available here. Hopefully, the Minister will consider our request for admission in this local cum premiere engineering institute,” said Shukla’s father.
