The CM has asked the senior officials of all the departments to finish development related works within time, and identify and punish obstacle-creating officials and personnel. He directed officials to start development works for Adivasis announced in State Budget 2017-18 as soon as possible. In a budget 2016-17 review and action plan for budget 2017-18 meeting, the CM said that the public remained at receiving end and revenue of government eroded considerably in case any plan didn’t complete within time. He also directed the officials to use remaining fund of current financial year before March 31.
Calling development of Adivasis a must for development of the State, he directed the Social Welfare Department to start plans for them, including fencing of Sarna lands.
