Chief Judicial Magistrate of Hazaribagh RS Singh has ordered police to take gangster Vikash Tiwari on three days police remand. After this order Hazaribagh Police is keeping him at a secret place where interrogation is going on.
Police officials along with Hazaribagh SP Akhilesh Jha are interrogating gangster Vikash Tiwari and as per sources he has confessed his involvement in the murder of rival gang head Sushil Srivastava and his two allies in broad daylight shootout in Court premises on 2nd of June 2015.
Police sources said that Vikash Tiwari has confessed that on the day and time of firing he was present in the court campus. He had hired a shooter from Uttar Pradesh Raju Singh and sharp shooter Babloo Thakur for the killing of gangster Sushil Srivastava. Initially, they had demanded `50 lakh but after negotiation they settled on `30 lakh which was paid to them.
He has also confessed that his team has been planning for last one month for the success of the incident. Six persons were present in the court campus on that day to shoot the gangster Sushil Srivastava.
Police sources said that he has given a list of more than 100 persons to the police who are associated with his gang. Police has got some important information from him in relation to collection of levy and extortion money.
Jail sources said that gangster Vikash Tiwari spent two days in the Hazaribagh central jail, but was not allowed to meet with his father Shambhu Nath Tiwari. His father has been in the jail for last two months in the same case.
Vikash Tiwari was arrested by the special cell of New Delhi police when he was going to New Delhi railway station to catch the train. Hazaribagh police brought him here on 3rd August after getting transit remand from Patiala House Court of New Delhi and produced him in CJM’s court on 4th of August.
Vikash Tiwari has architected the killing of his rival gangster Sushil Srivastava and two of his undertrial associates in the court campus of Hazaribagh on June 2. He had left a written note in the Bolero used by the shooters claiming his role in this murder. Hazaribagh police has arrested almost all the accused in the case.
Shooter Raju Singh has also been arrested by the UP Police and soon Hazaribagh police will bring him here for further investigation of this case.
