Sports Minister Amar Kumar Bauri during the inauguration ceremony of first sports workshop organised by State Government in association with ITK leipzig University, Germany for coaches at State Museum announced about the three months renewal of day boarding and residential centre coaches. Renowned coaches of the State like Ashunta lakra and Samurai Tete from Hockey and Purnima Mahto from Archery who is also Ace Archer Deepika’s coach are participating in the workshop.
They said the workshop will help in learning the latest technologic advancements in sports. Also, merely 70 coaches out of 250 coaches invited from State Govt, SAIl, Army, Police, CCl and BCCl turned up. Sources said it was due to communication gap or Maoist bandh.
