PNS nThree families of minority community bailed out the Palamu administration of the ticklish situation at lokya village where over the issue of road to a holy place of the Hindus ugly scenes occurred on Sunday leading to the arrest 15 people while 35 others are absconding.
According to DC Ameet Kumar and SP Indrajeet Mahatha the three Muslim families have given 63 feet long and three feet wide land of their own for making road to the holy place of the Hindus.
The three families are of Imamuddin Ansari, Enamul Ansari and Hashmuddin Ansari. Kumar and Mahatha said one of the three has even got his boundary wall removed to make this road to the holy place straight instead of its being in ‘l’ shape.
Sources said the Hindus have appreciated this gesture of the Muslims of lokya village and are now ruing the incident of Sunday when the boundary wall of the grave yard was broken and a house of a person was attacked and his roof was damaged.
Kumar and Mahatha said the administration has built a boundary wall around this holy place of the Hindus making it independent and separate from the Muslims’ grave yard.
The two institutions the grave yard and the holy place are now well within their own boundary wall and have no truck with each others as followers of both the faiths will now be free to perform any ritual in a free atmosphere.
Section 144 is still imposed there at lokya and police vigil has been slightly scaled down to further give time and space to both the communities to re think of what happened on Sunday which was most avoidable.
Sources said the Sunday fracas was the resultant of desperate politics wherein some people were out to grab the lime light but the administration playing restrained and neutral role watershed the entire narrow and communal politics of the vested interests.
