For the fourth consecutive day, murder reported in Hazaribag. Three dead bodies found in circumstances suggesting murder on Sunday at villagers in Garikhurd Bazaar of Keredari block.
A dead body of a government teacher Anita (25) was found lying in pool of blood.
Later her four month old daughter and sister-in-law Lakshmi Kumari's bodies also recovered from the well of the house.
Sources said when door of the house didn't get open, villagers suspected some foul play. When they came near to the house and saw blood they broke open the door where dead body of Anita was seen. Police first thought this case as of dowry death but when two more bodies found in a well, it turned into a planned murder.
DIG Pankaj Kamboj and SP Maybe Patel reached to the spot and investigated the murder.
Patel said it was not possible to comment as they are still struggling to reach on any conclusion.
He said other members of the family were not in the village and anything would be cleared after their return. Officials said one possibility is that Lakshmi killed Anita and out of fear jumped into the well with the baby.
