Three criminals were arrested in a case of collecting levy from the owners of brick kilns at Tati and Chiri Barwa Toli of Kudu block illegally.
Saurabh Ganjhu of Tupi Chandwa, Vinod lohra of Tati Kudu and Kamal Munda used to collect the levies and beat the kiln workers. The criminals would introduce themselves as members of the PlFI group to the kiln owners. In case of not giving the extortion money, they threaten them.
According to SP Mrityunjay Kumar, one of the criminals, Vinod Ganjhu, had been arrested earlier and on his statement the rest of the criminals were nabbed.
