Three of the 245 schools of Vidhya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand- Manohar Lal Agrawal SVM Inter College, Shiela Agrawal SVM and Sundari Devi Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Lohardaga organized ‘Samarasata Khichari’ and Swami Vivekanand Prashnamanch Pratiyogita (Quuiz) to mark Swamij’s birth anniversary as well as Makar Sankranti. While thousands of people including students and their parents of the three schools enjoyed khichari in the programme a group comprising Mamata Kumari and Shubham Kujur won the quiz. Supriya Kumari and Puja Kumari stood second while Dharmesh Kumar Munda and Shakti Kumar Tanti got third prize. The quiz was organized by the college for consecutive second year. The quiz was conducted by Chhavi Kumari and Rashmi Singh of the college. Chief Guest SDPO Arvind Kumar Verma and special guest Sachchidanand Lal, the RSS state chief (Prant Sanghchalak) gave away prizes to winners.
On this occasion they asked the students to follow the footsteps of Swami Vivekanand. President of the school committee Shashidhar Lal Agrawal, Patron Krishna Prasad, Secretary Ajay Prasad, Vice President Virendra Mittal and Vinod Ray, Vice President of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Kripa Prasad Singh, HOD of Science in BS College Dr Shashi Kumar Gupta, BK Badaik, Arshad Momin, Principals Uttam Kumar Mukherjee, Ramesh Kumar Upadhyay and Suresh Chandra Pandey and several others were present on this occasion.
