Citizens Foundation and Jharkhand State Bal Bhavan organised a social campaign on Sunday to mobilize and educate people for not burning crackers and cleanse their ego and anger instead. This campaign was supported by deaf and dumb children from Kshitiz School who expressed their request for a firecracker-less Diwali through their paintings and play cards about keeping the pollution levels low this year during the festival of lights.
Citizens Foundation Secretary-cum-CEO Ganesh Reddy and Jharkhand State Bal Bhavan Director Abha Sharma jointly expressed that Diwali is the festival of joy and happiness and must be celebrated in an eco-friendly manner, without noise and air pollution.
