A seminar was organised in the Divisional Officers’ conference hall of Hazaribagh on the topic ‘Hazaribagh–The Cradle of Culture’. DIG Umesh Kumar inaugurated the seminar by lighting the lamp along with Deputy Director IPRD Annand Kumar and eminent cultural activist Bulu Imam.
Justine Imam, son of Bulu Imam, who is also getting name and fame in protecting and promoting the local culture and heritage was the key note speaker of this seminar organised by districts public relation department.
Addressing the gathering Justine said that the entire Hazaribagh district is full of ancient monuments and cultures. Calling the Barakgaon area of the district as Cradle of Culture, he said that our study clearly indicates that this area is the oldest one of the district having cultures and monuments of earlier than 9th century.
