The Bokaro Thermal police organised Thana Diwas on the police station premises here on Friday evening to address grievances of the public. On the occasion CCR Dy SP Rajat Manik Bagala has emphasised the need for closer rapport between the police and the general public for better maintenance of law and order.
Addressing the gathering Bagala said the Diwas was organised every year at Bokaro thermal police to bring about better understanding between the men in uniform and the public with the focus on maintaining law and order. While the CO of Bermo block Mudasar Nazar Mansuri said that the mainly police –public meet was organised to bring about better understanding between the two and convey the message that public also had the responsibility to help the police and local administration to ensure peace and harmony, he said .
From the public net Dr H Kumar senior MD said that the relation between public and police has been completely changed and now the relation between both found very good at present time. However, the people of our society visited frequently at police station for their grievances without any fear, In the meet lady officer-in change Sangita Kumari has described about “Shakti aap “for specially for lady who visited anywhere alone, the App defiantly help them from anti social and illegal activists.
Officer-in charge P liyangi informed through the meet to common people that the any lady or gents could call me any time to pass on any information of local crimes; the police will definitely help them within the time. He said policemen were government servants in uniform and there was no need for the public to maintain distance from them. However hundred peoples from different location were present on the event.
