Thakur demands compensation from WI Board

BCCI Joint Secretary Anurag Thakur has demanded that proper action must be taken against the West Indies Board which called off the series without giving adequate reasons. Thakur also said that the BCCI must demand compensation for calling off the series and think over the players of WI during the IPl matches to be held in India. “I had to insist them in order to make them agree to play at Dharamshala as they were not ready to play the match. I told them that it might create law and order problem as the crowd gathered here to watch the match may turn violent posing a security threat on the West Indies players,” said Thakur.
