Denizens are not expected to get any respite from scorching heat in the days to come.

According to Meteorological department prediction, the temperature will rise from the normal and heat wave is likely to hit the State in the next two three days. The State capital has been reeling under severe hot weather conditions with the maximum temperatures soaring around 40 degree Celsius, which is 5 to 6 degree Celsius above the normal, for the past few days.

“The condition is likely be the same in the coming days and temperature will rise further. Though drizzle will give some amount of relief to people, its intensity would be low, considering the present scenario. This dry condition will be maintained as there are no chances of cloud formation currently,” informed, Forecast officer of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Ranchi, Upendra Srivastava.

Ranchi on Sunday recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius, which is likely to increase to 42 degree Celsius in the next 3 to 4 days. The weather bulletin released by IMD suggests that the upper air cyclonic circulation which persists over Assam and Meghalaya is very feeble and will hardly influence the climatic condition of Jharkhand.

On Sunday Jamshedpur and Daltonganj recorded 43 degree Celsius whereas 41 degree Celsius was recorded in Bokaro. There are hardly any chances for getting respite from the scorching heat in the coming days.

looking at the present condition, health experts too suggests precautionary measures to combat heat.

“Proper water intake is mandatory to keep oneself hydrated. Apart this one must avoid oily and street food stuff. Those suffering from migraine must avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Allergic people must concern their general physicians time to time,” informed, Dr. Kiran Chandel of Sadar Hospital.
