Former deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was running a dictatorial government in Bihar adding the administration was suppressing protests related to public issues.
“The state government is resorting to lathi charge to stifle protest related to public problems. Such incidents have become very common in the recent days,” he stated while reacting to a question related to police lathi charge on RLSP party protestors in Patna on Saturday.
Notably, Tejashwi along with his sister Ragini and brother-in-law were in Ranchi to meet Lalu at RIMS, where the latter is undergoing treatment for various ailments.
The former deputy CM pointed out that State police had also used force on a peaceful protest staged by RJD’s youth wing on public issues including unemployment and corruption in Patna a few days ago.
“The State Government should answer whether it fulfilled its promises made to people or not. If the government instead uses force to suppress public oriented agitations, the people would give reply in the next election,” he claimed.
On Lalu’s health, Tejashwi said it was a matter of prime concern for his family “We pray to God that he becomes well soon. I have faith in the doctors of RIMS,” he said.
Tejashwi reacted strongly when asked about dispute between Tej Pratap and Aishwarya saying they were personal issues of his family which he would not talk in public. “My family is capable to sort it out come what may,” he said.
Tejashwi added he was more absorbed in ensuring the progress of Bihar and the country than thinking of his family affairs.
He added whatever be the seat sharing arrangement among the Mahagathbandhan partners, the NDA would be wiped out of the state in the next elections.
It may be noted here the Tejashwi along with his relatives arrived at RIMS at 11: 30 am and spent around five hours with Lalu in the hospital.
