A pall of gloom descended on the densely–populated Dundibagh muhallah this morning after a news spread that a 14-year old boy committed suicide early this morning. Sachin Kumar ended his life by hanging from the ceiling of his house. Officer-in charge of City PS, Madan Mohan Prasad Sinha said, “His family members said he had not prepared for matric exams which led him to live under constant depression.”
According to sources, Sachin was a student of Matric at Bokaro sector –II. He was to appear for the matric final examination to begin next month. The student was extremely nervous as the exam date approached and he was very depressed.
