Tragedy struck at Bokaro Thermal when a 16-year old girl set herself on fire after pouring kerosene oil at her house in Raja Bazar under the Bokaro Thermal police station area in the wee hours of Saturday .The victim, identified as PuJa Kumari died on way to BGH hospital at 7:30pm, police sources said.
Puja was student of high school and was living her father house at Raja-Bazaar in Bokaro Thermal .The police said this to be a case of suicide and her body to be sent for postmortem tomorrow.
Officer-in charge, Thermal police station Rajesh Kujur said as per the initial investigation it seems to be a case of suicide, but the girl has not left any suicide note. The girl’s father Tileshwar Ram, who has been working as dailywase worker, said her daughter was normal till this morning, and was stayed to her room for study .
