On the birth anniversary of Dr BhimRao Ambedkar, the teachers of Bermo and Gomia Prathmik Sikshak Sangh here organised a welcome ceremony of teacher turned BJP, Bagodar MlA Nagender Mahto with fanfare at CCl officer club, Kathara on Tuesday afternoon.
More than 300 teachers, parents, school children and CCl employees were among the distinguished guests .The chief guest Nagender Mahto and other teachers union leader Krishnadeo Rai ,Mantu lal Mahto, Chandershwar Prasad Yadav ,Budhan Kumar Verma ,Kamal Kishor Gupta, Anant Kumar Murmu ,Sahdeo Yadav and Prem chand Manjhi inaugurated the function by lighting the celestial lamp .Students of Kathara Middle school also gathered in large in the officer club this afternoon and celebrated the day with gaiety.
Girls students of Kathara Middle school, Kathara presented a welcome song in the officer club, while teachers of middle school, Kathara, Swetambrari Kumari, Niva Kumari, Shyama Kumari of Shankar middle school, Bokaro Thermal and others male teachers presented book eyed to the MlA, Nagender Mahto, MlA of Bagodar constituency Mahto who had served as teacher at Kathara and Gomia middle school at least 17 years.
Addressing the gathering ,Mahto said that I had sent at least 20 years in the Kathara areas and also had been regular fighting for teachers welfare ,now I am MlA by the contribution of all you .Here I have gained recognition at the state level in the field of education and Kathara middle school has played a major role in the achievement. MlA also thanked the teachers for the honouring and for the ceremony they have organized .
While Budhan Kumar Verma and Krishnadeo Rai spoke on the importance of all round need of teachers .Budhan Kumar Verma highlighted about the promotion policy in the recent past stating that only science teachers having got the promotion and also presented the vote of thanks.
