The process of teachers’ recruitment has still not been completed even after completion of counseling. As per the State Government’s instruction, a process to recruit 122 teachers in primary levels school and 67 teachers in class 6 to 8 was adopted. Under this, the counselling in 7 phases has been conducted. In first month, 49 teachers in primary school and 35 in middle school appeared in the counseling. In spite of this, the education department could not appoint the teachers.
In the matter, DSE-cum-DPO Prabala Khes, said, “The process could not be completed due to not holding the meeting of district education committee. We would take steps soon and the teachers would be appointed in several schools.”
