Very soon the teachers working on contractual basis in different self financed courses run by Vinoba Bhave University and its colleges will get a handsome amount as remuneration as the University Syndicate has decided that from August onwards all such teachers will get equal salary.
There will be only two categories of the teachers working in these departments and as per the discussions and suggestions in syndicate those who are working for more than five years will be given Rs30,000 and those who had served less than 5 years will get Rs25,000.
It is one of the most important decisions taken in the meeting of the marathon meeting of syndicate held on Wednesday, in the
chairmanship of V-C Prof Gurdeep Singh.
In the meeting, the issues of promotion of teachers were discussed in details and it was decided within one month that the VBU administration will clear all such pending applications and will invite fresh applications.
Regarding 6th pay scale it was decided that it will be given only after fixation by the Government.
